1st of October
The first day of October is known as National Day of People’s Republic of China. I had this honor to be there and see how streets are nicely decorated with traditional Chinese red adornments and people seem happy about having 1 week holidays. However, it was also such a hustle and bustle in the capital city Beijing. Even the Tiananmen metro station was closed, so it definitely wasn’t a good idea to visit the Tiananmen Square on that day as it was so crowded!! Because of this reason we decided to just walk around Wanfujing station and visit the exotic market. Why exotic? Well, to find scorpions, all kinds of bugs and other insects to be sold the same way as other goods eatable and non-eatable is not very common practice, I believe…Are you hungry already?
